Scholarship and Funding
The funding for the operation of the Postgraduate Program in Literature (Master’s degree) comes from postgraduate and research promotion agencies (CNPq, CAPES, FAPEMIG), as well as resources from the UFV itself. Scholarships granted by CAPES and FAPEMIG are distributed to the candidates by the Program Coordinating Commission according to the availability and specific requirements in a balanced way in the two areas of concentration of the Program: Literary Studies and Linguistic Studies.
Each of the concentration areas have their own list of candidates, drawn up according to the classification in the selection exam. No scholarships will be awarded to students of the Program who are substitute professors at the UFV or another Federal Teaching Institution.
The foreign student is respomsible for living expenses to maintain or apply for a scholarship with the funding agencies in Brazil that maintain a Cooperation Program with their country.
